This stunning 1965 Mustang K-Code Convertible arguably ranks among the finest in existence. It has been the recipient of a meticulous unibody-off MCA concourse quality restoration to the absolute highest standards. The K-code engine (HiPo) is the solid lifter high performance 271 horsepower version of Ford’s venerable 289 ci small block V8 engine. This K-Code Convertible is powered by its matching number engine and 4-speed toploader transmission and sports its original configuration:

instrument cluster, dual exhaust with chrome trumpets through rear valence, lower body
panel striping and “GT” front fender badges.

To this point, this beauty has garnered its share of trophies, including 14 first place awards, 5 best of show awards and one concourse first place award. It recently won a first place award at the Mid-America Ford and Team Shelby Nationals. In addition, it has appeared on Speed TV (taped at the Barrett-Jackson offices), was profiled in Phoenix Life magazine and was the subject of a feature article in Mustangs Illustrated.
