Boss 351’s are powered by Ford’s rugged four-bolt main high performance version of the Ford 351 Cleveland small block engine, cranking out an underrated 330 hp (a rating of 40 hp more than the 69/70 Boss 302’s). As evidence of the underrating, Boss 351’s consistently outran big block cars with 20%+ more cubic inches and much higher horsepower ratings. Boss 351 cylinder heads feature poly-angle valves with generously configured ports and live on today in the current crop of Cleveland-evolved NASCAR heads.
Restored matching numbers, one owner, Marti Report documented example of the last Boss Mustang that 1,806 buyers had the opportunity to feel the thrill of taking home. A worthy addition to any collection, this stunning 1971 Boss 351 is one of the last four produced and looks, runs, sounds, drives & shows great.
